We are very grateful to Akemi Associates who have generously sponsored Kyra’s International Women’s Day event this year. Taking place at the Central Methodist Church, where Kyra is based, the event will combine an exhibition of stands from local charities and businesses with activities such a bike maintenance workshop in the morning and a cheerleading demonstration in the afternoon. All are welcome to come along between 10am and 4pm. There will be refreshments available as well as a tombola and crafts to buy.
Upstairs in Kyra’s rooms (a women-only space) there are taster sessions of Kyra activities including mindfulness, capacitar and sound meditation, an art exhibition and a filmed drama production. For full details, watch our Events page where the programme will appear shortly.
