On 29 March, the day the ‘stay at home’ order was finally lifted, we published a book of poems and images which capture our members’ experiences during the pandemic and lockdown.

Glynis Werndly, who runs the poetry group, says: “We’re really pleased to be able to share our members’ experiences in this way. Lockdown has been very hard for people who are already vulnerable, isolated or even in danger in their home from domestic abuse. These writings show how much Kyra’s normal services have been missed during the lockdowns.”
