Throughout our anniversary year we have been putting on events and fundraising to celebrate the achievements of the charity. It made sense to therefore dedicate a week to our incredible members!
This past week we have supported members to deliver Crochet, Art Journaling and Self Care sessions, helping them gain confidence and showcase their talents. Special wellness activity sessions ran during our Thursday Drop-In, members made Aromatherapy roller ball kits and ‘Celebrate Yourself’ cards encouraging them to think positively about themselves. In the office a feedback box has been out which members have been adding to all week and household and toiletry ‘Goodie Bags’ funded through our cost-of-living grant and with donated items from Tesco Clifton Moor have been available to any who want one.
It has been a joy to see our members flourish and have fun this week, a potential new tradition at Kyra!!
