On Weds 25 October between 4.30 and 6pm we will be launching a brand new phase of our ROSE project – called ROSE Growing – at SPARK in York! Thanks to funding from the Community Mental Health Transformation fund, our young women’s project, ROSE (Reaching Out, Supporting, Empowering) will be running for the next two years. ROSE works with young women aged 18 – 25 years to enable them to make positive changes in their lives. Wellbeing and social sessions help provide a safe, supportive environment for women looking to improve self esteem, gain confidence or reduce loneliness.

The launch event will feature photographs produced by the group on the theme of Mental Health and Me, one of which was Highly Commended in the Two Ridings photography competition. Do come along and see the photographs and talk to some of our amazing younger members.

We’re on the #WomensServicesMap the UK’s first directory of services for women in contact with the criminal justice system. This map helps women to search for & access the individual & specialist support they need. Explore http://www.womensservicesmap.com #WomensCentres #WomensServices
