For some young women, walking into a big group for the first time can feel impossible. We know that walking into a new group can feel huge, especially when you’re already carrying anxiety, burnout, or past trauma. That’s why Steps to ROSE exists.

Designed as a smaller, quieter version of our ROSE group for 18–27 year olds, Steps to ROSE offers a gentler introduction to Kyra. It’s the same warm, supportive ethos, just on a smaller scale.

No pressure. No expectations. Just space to be yourself, build confidence, and take things at your own pace.

Why It Matters

Steps to ROSE is led by our brilliant Sherrie, who also runs the full ROSE and ROSE+ groups. Sherrie’s experience, empathy, and ability to build genuine relationships have made this group a lifeline for many young women.

“Sherrie has been such a good support. I can talk to her when I feel down and I make sure I go to ROSE group at least once a month. She is always asking what we want to do and planning things for us—it’s nice she wants to hear our ideas.”

This isn’t just a group, it’s a stepping stone. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, low confidence, or trauma, Steps to ROSE helps you take that first step into a community of care.

What the Group Offers

Each session is shaped by the group. Some weeks it’s gentle crafts and conversation. Others, it’s just being in shared space with others who understand. There’s never any pressure to talk or share more than you want to. Sherrie also offers 1-1 support for members too.

Many women who start in Steps to ROSE move on to the larger ROSE group when they’re ready. Others find the confidence to access other Kyra groups and workshops.

“It has made a huge difference to my life. The encouragement I’ve received has helped me to really believe in myself, and go on to achieve things that I am incredibly proud of.”
