Kyra’s ROSE project, which helps women aged 18 – 25 to make positive changes in their lives, is today celebrating its fourth anniversary. Running on a Wednesday afternoon and evening, the group has around 20 members, with usually around 6 – 8 attending each session. The young women work on projects and crafts, learning to build self-esteem and address difficult issues. They also go out on visits and have recently run a Crystal Maze-type fundraising event for Kyra.

One member said: “I have never felt like I fit in anywhere and always felt like an outcast but Rose is a place where I feel safe and have made so many friends from it thanks to you!”
